Our Commitment to the Vale Community
Established in 2012, Vale Funeral Services has been a pillar of support for families in Barry and the surrounding Vale of Glamorgan, offering heartfelt and professional guidance through difficult times. As a well-established, privately owned business, we take great pride in what we do, and work tirelessly to provide the best service to every family we look after.
Our vast local knowledge, coupled with many years experience in the funeral directing profession mean that we are able to offer a very personal level of service that is specific to your own requirements.
Vale Funeral Services also incorporates W Spickett of Barry, the oldest funeral director in Barry having been founded by the Spickett family in 1837. We are staffed and operated by Pidgeons of Cardiff, another family-run funeral home with the duty of service to the bereaved, and is firmly established since 1920.

We believe that this is key in making your time a little easier, taking away much of the worry at an emotional time. Jordan conducts the majority of funeral services and he will always arrive with a full compliment of professional staff. It’s these small details that our clients tell us are important – our friendly approach, dedication to what we do and genuine care for the families we look after means that our client’s expectations are often exceeded.
